We want to thank everyone involved in our first Helping Hands Day project. We had a great turn-out and what a fun, uplifting experience it was!

We spent a recent Saturday doing home repairs, painting and landscape maintenance at the home of Barbara Davies, whose husband, Jon, was a long-time member of the Plano Chamber of Commerce and one of the driving forces behind the annual event, Taste of Plano. He passed away unexpectedly last year, and although Barbara and her two lovely daughters have been working hard to maintain their home, it hasn´t been easy.

Jon was well-loved and respected in the Plano community, which was evident by the many Chamber members that came out to support us, including Judy Cordell, Steve Stoler, Chuck O´Reilly and Marty Warborg. Chuck and Marty even arranged a delicious McDonald´s lunch for all our very hungry crew members!

Our Real Estate family came through with flying colors, too! So many of you donated your time, supplies or money!  Our hard working crew members included: Randi Gaddy and her son, Blake; Betty and James Magee; Stephanie and Jake Gonzalez with their kids Emma and Kelsey, Karen and Paul Vasta with kids Sam and Becca, and Justin Pinkham, our favorite home inspector!

Donations of supplies and money were very much appreciated, as well, thanks to: Doug and Cleo McLaughlin, Judy Cordell, Steve Stoler, Bill and Julie Sinclair, Harry and Margy Parks, and Randi and Bill Gaddy.

And it´s not over! Everclear Window Cleaning is on their way to Barbara´s home to clean her windows, and Betty is lining up a special and much needed home maintenance surprise with some of the money that was donated (more on that to come).
