Another way we´re giving back to the community is to offer a $1,000 scholarship to Collin County Community College. We would like one of you, our clients, to win this scholarship to our local college. The only requirement is that the recipient must be planning to become a teacher. As a former teacher myself, having taught for nine years, it is disheartening to me to see how teachers´ salaries and schooling have deterred the top students from pursuing this noble profession. Maybe this scholarship will play a part in encouraging good students to enter this rewarding field.

To apply for our scholarship, go to foundation.ccccd.org and click on "Scholarships" at the top, then click on "CCCCD Scholarship Application." This will take you to a page where you will see the requirements to apply, and another link to "Continue To Online Application".  The scholarship application you submit will apply to our scholarship as well as all the others being offered through this program. The deadline to submit applications is Friday, May 25th, so if you are a High School Senior or a current CCCCD student, please don´t hesitate to apply!
